Sam Lustig is a composer, performer, singer/songwriter and teacher based in the Santa Clarita valley. He is fluent on guitar, piano, electric bass and drums, and has written music for orchestras, big bands, rock bands and almost everything in between.

He moved from New York to Los Angeles in 2000 to enter the composition program at the California Institute of the Arts; there he had the opportunity to study world music, film scoring and interdisciplinary art, and apprentice under such esteemed faculty as James Tenney, David Roitstein, Art Jarvinen and Marc Lowenstein.

He is currently the musical director and pianist for the 24th Street Theatre's Arts Education program and performs regularly with his band MisterBarnabus.

Since arriving in L.A. he has written and arranged music for theatre, short films and multimedia, and is also an accomplished cartoonist and writer. He began teaching in 1997, and is currently the director of 'After School Rock' at Hubbadaddy's Studios in Santa Clarita.
